One of the first malt distilleries to be built in Glasgow for over a century, The Clydeside Distillery celebrates the major role that whisky has played – and continues to play – in shaping Glasgow and Scotland through a variety of media.
Once inside, a short film transports visitors back in time to the very same spot, more than 120 years ago, to the heyday of Glasgow’s distilling and shipping industries.
Further into the self-guided tour, a scripted animation introduces the larger-than-life whisky barons. Both commissioned by Bright.
