Telling tales

Scottish Gaelic for ‘monster’, Uile-bheist (pronounced EWL-uh-Vehst) is a new, low carbon craft distillery, brewery and visitor experience in the heart of Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands.

Rising from the banks of the mighty River Ness, close to where legend tells us Saint Columba once banished a certain “water monster” back into the river, Uile-bheist connects Scotland’s ancient past with its present, breathing new life into tales from local folklore.

Working with Four-by-Two, I helped with the storytelling and tone of voice development, as well as writing the tour script, web content, packaging copy, social media posts and more.

The label design for Colpach, Uile-bheist’s blended malt Scotch whisky, features phosphorescent ink, creating a fantastical eerie glow in the dark.
